01 / Story

A better handle for more hands.

Sam Farber created OXO after seeing his wife struggle with a conventional peeler. The resulting Good Grips handle established a design practice built around observation, comfortable use and details that help a broad range of people.

1990
The first 15 Good Grips kitchen tools launch.
1992
The tools enter MoMA’s permanent collection.
Today
The same user-led method spans kitchen, cleaning and coffee.
