From Blacklock to Lodge.
Joseph Lodge opened the Blacklock Foundry in South Pittsburg in 1896. After a fire destroyed it in 1910, he rebuilt nearby as Lodge Manufacturing Company. The company still makes its core cast-iron cookware in the same Tennessee town.
